CCFA 2026 Tackle Football Information

Get in the game! Chaska-Chanhassen Football Association (CCFA) is THE source for youth football in Chaska, Chanhassen, Carver, Victoria and the surrounding areas. CCFA offers both casual and competitive programs for boys and girls, Pre-K through 8th grade. 

• Tackle Football Offering: 4th Grade - 8th Grade (as of 2026-2027 school year), 3rd graders may opt in and play with the 4th grade level.
• Registration Dates: March 15 - June 30, 2026
• Season Dates: August 3rd - October 16, 2026
• Equipment:
• CCFA provides: helmet, shoulder pads, padded football pants, jersey
• 2026 Equipment pickup dates at CCFA Facility (2431 Galpin Court in Chanhassen): May 31, June 14, June 28, July 15, July 19, and August 2. Times TBA.
• Fees:
• March 15 - April 30: $385 less early bird discount of $50 = $335. Register now for the best rate!
• Fees will go up in May and June
• Parent Volunteer Requirement:
• CCFA requires parents to volunteer 2 hours per player for each tackle season
• Parents may opt out of the volunteer requirement and instead pay a $200 buyout
• Tackle team head, assistant, and helper coaches are exempt

PRACTICES & GAMES

• Practice Days & Times: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings
• Practice Locations: Practices will be held at local school or community fields in Eastern Carver County School District, including, but not limited to: Chaska High School Practice Fields, Chanhassen High School Upper Turf, Clover Ridge Elementary, Carver Elementary, and Lions Park in Victoria.
• Game Days & Times: Games are typically held on Saturdays between 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, starting in late August, but may occur on a weekday evening.
• Game Locations: CCFA plays in the Southwest Metro League (SWML - www.swmlfootball.org), which consists of teams from local communities (Chaska, Chanhassen, Eden Prairie, Waconia, Prior Lake, Orono, New Prague, and two more cities to be announced. Approximately 50% will be "home" games and 50% will be "away" games played in one of the other conference team's home field.
